Over the years there's been some amazing comments about my shows, some emailed through, thank you cards from weddings, birthdays, bowling & R n R clubs. I used to put them all on my other website until one day I rang a manager and in our discussion he said, "How can you prove you didn't make them all up?" I never considered that an option, but obviously others do... there is however one comment I'd like to share with you It happened for real at the Masterton Cossie just before Christmas. A young lady was there for her dad's birthday and at night's end she came to us, gave us a big hug and kiss. By then she had had a couple but was by no means drunk when she commented:
"I live in Wellington and go out every weekend to clubs and pubs with friends and I'd like to tell you I've never heard better than you anywhere. Thank you so much for a fantastic night."
Hearing this from a lady in her late 20s made our night. Believe it or not... but it is true!
28th September 2013: I was singing in the Hamilton WMC and knowing John Rowles was singing in the Cossi Club, I sang one of his songs in honour of him. Later when I was packing up, a group of people came up and said they had come over after John's show and now wished they had come to hear me first. They also commented that I sang "IF I ONLY HAD TIME" better than John himself. Being a big fan of John's over the years, I took it as a huge compliment.
